Canwich

Last month my Internet homepages were flooded with links to this product. It showed up on a segment of the Today Show, all the big news agencies printed stories, even comedy shows made parody of it. The canwich has arrived! The Kirklands are in our Ward and so this product wasn't new to us....but it is cool that finally it is going to take off! Cool idea- yeah, Kirklands! This will be so cool for food storage/emergency preparedness, camping and moms on the run. It will be in production later this year.

Yesterday Mom and I made a Costco run. As usual, there were samples galore. One was for a product that I've never seen but I absolutely love! I am a real hamburger fan but find the bun way too big. Oftentimes I will take off one part of the bun just because it is so much bread, I can't taste the burger. These Orowheat Sandwich Thins can replace your buns for hamburgers (and since they are only 1 Weight Watcher point and 100 calories, they can help replace your "other" buns)...and they make great sandwiches.....moist and delicious! They are suppose to be great for panini's, which are a staple around our house. (If you don't have a panini maker, you can use your George Forman grill as well.) Maybe this product is old hat to some of you, but if you haven't tried them, I think you'll like them!
