From Brandi's post:
My dad was missing my mama too much! He has also been admitted to the hospital, both of them with covid pneumonia. They aren’t roommates but they are next door neighbors -
My mama was diagnosed last year with a collapsed left lung due to a paralyzed diaphragm - so we were really hoping she would be able to avoid contracting covid.
These two are as good as they come and a blessing to all that know them! When the pandemic first started an email went out in my parents congregation asking for people to deliver groceries and help with errands so high risk and older individuals could get what they needed and remain safe. My dad replied instantly that he would be happy to help! He received a quick response- that actually he and my mom were in that “older” group needing help
We as a family are grateful and overwhelmed with the outpouring of love and support for these two and for us.
We are asking our friends and loved ones to join us in prayer.
Specifically that the broad spectrum antibiotics will be able to target dad's infection. That his mind will remain clear and oriented. That his body will be able to heal and regain strength.
Please pray that mom's mind will clear up and that her right lung will be able to work properly and sufficiently to allow her oxygen to remain stable. Pray that she will be able to sleep and feel comfort and purpose in this.
